Missionary Preston was saved, at an early age, at her home church -New Jerusalem COGIC in her hometown of Foxworth, Mississippi. She was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of nineteen (19) while under watch care at Amazing COGIC under the late Bishop Marcus Butler.

She is a graduate of Jackson State University, the Charles Harrison Mason Bible Institute, and is a Certified Public Manager.

Missionary Preston has been married to Bishop Kenneth E. Preston, Jurisdictional Bishop (MS Southern Second Jurisdiction) for over forty-seven (47) years. She was inducted into the Bishop Wives Circle in November 2021.  She is the Mother of three (3) daughters with two (2) granddaughters and one (1) deceased grandson.

Missionary Preston became a Pastor’s wife at age nineteen (19) and has served in that capacity for over forty-seven (47) years. She is, currently, First Lady of Miracle Temple Evangelistic COGIC – South Jackson Mississippi.

She served as District Missionary of the Jackson District for 15 years. She was concentrated by the national Church as Assistant Supervisor – MS Southern Second Jurisdiction in November 2017.  She currently serves as a Member of the Advisory Board for the International District Missionary Unit, under the leadership of Dr. Noma Roberson, President.

Missionary Preston has been a Mississippi Notary since 1999. She is a retired State of Mississippi employee, after thirty-three (33) years of employment starting with the Mississippi Bureau for Narcotics in January 1979 and ending at the Department of Finance & Administration – MMRS Division in December 2011.

She later retired as a Nissan Contract Worker with MINACT Logistical Services, after seven (7) years of employment.  She is a retired Entrepreneur (Prestod Consultant), after thirty-three (34) years of ownership.

-Never Retired from “Serving the Lord”.

 

She has a firm belief in the scripture: Ecclesiastes 9:10 – Whatsoever thy hands findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave, wither thou goest.
